How do I transfer period or pay-as-you-go credit with Auto top-up from one Västtrafikkort to another?

You can get help transferring your credit from one card to another in any of our Västtrafik shops, but first you will need to deactivate Auto top-up. To start the deactivation process, perform a cancellation on My Pages under “My Västtrafikkort”. Click in the green field next to auto top-up where it says “ON” and then follow the instructions. You will receive confirmation by e-mail.

- If you auto top-up a period card, you must cancel no later than eight days before your current period expires in order to prevent the next payment being taken.

- If you auto top-up a pay-as-you-go card, you can cancel at any time.

Cancelling Auto top-up takes up to seven days. Cancellation is complete after seven days and you can complete deactivation by presenting your Västtrafikkort at a card reader on a vehicle, at a ticket agent or in a Västtrafik shop Once you have presented your card at a card reader, it can take up to 48 hours before Auto top-up is deactivated and is displayed as “OFF” on My Pages (you can log in and check the status for yourself). Once Auto top-up is displayed as “OFF”, you can visit a Västtrafik shop and transfer your credit to another card.

If you want to have Auto top-up on your new Västtrafikkort, you can order this in the usual way. The card must be registrered on My Pages. If it is not already registered, you can do this under “Add a Västtrafikkort”.
