Västtrafik is Sweden's second largest public transport company. 50% of the company is owned by the Västra Götaland county and 50% by the 49 municipalities of Västra Götaland.

To allow us to offer as many people as possible the best transport available as cost- effectively as possible, we need both size and local knowledge. Västtrafik co-ordinates all public transport services in the whole of Västra Götaland County.

Västtrafik has offices at four places across the county. This increases our scope to act on an overall regional basis, as well as at a local level.
