Västtrafik exists to ensure that the people of Västra Götaland County have access to the best possible public transport services.
Our mission statement is:
"To organise and develop the public transport network in the Västra Götaland county on behalf of our owners. We will achieve this by ascertaining the needs of passengers and by procuring the traffic necessary to meet these needs. The operation is financed through ticket revenue and owner subsidies”
Our vision is that Västtrafik should be the obvious choice for travel.
