Your Västtrafik

Västtrafik has offices at four places across the county. This increases our scope to act on an overall regional basis, as well as at a local level.

When Västtrafik was formed, it was important that we should be able to adopt all the excellent examples and up-and-running systems in the various areas of Västtrafik. Over time, we have evaluated and developed new systems which will be used throughout the Västtrafik organisation. Virtually all passengers will experience some changes, but uniformity is one of our most important objectives. Common systems will make it even easier for passengers to travel throughout the Västra Götaland county, and will help to boost the attractiveness of all parts of our region for people working and living there.

As of this year, we will be making a real effort to establish as many common systems as possible. One example is the new pricing and payment system.
