Flex ticket

The flex ticket is suitable for those who, for example, work or study from home a part of the week and sometimes on site. It contains ten 24-hour tickets that you can use within 30 days. The flex ticket is no longer available for purchase.

Flex ticket removed

April 22 was the last day to buy the flex ticket. If you have a flex ticket, it must be activated within 30 days, May 21 is the last possible day of activation. On June 19, the flex ticket expires and is thus no longer valid as a travel pass.

This is how the flex ticket works

The Flex ticket includes ten 24-hour tickets that you can use within 30 days.
You choose which zone or zones the ticket should be valid in.
The first ticket must be activated within 30 days of purchase.
The Flex ticket is valid for 30 days from the time the first ticket was activated.
The Flex ticket is valid on partners' trains within Västtrafik's area,
with the exception of SJ Regional Göteborg – Töreboda.

A ticket for you who...

Travel 2-3 days a week
Working or studying at home occasionally and on site sometimes
Make stops on the road while you're traveling.

If you travel three days a week or more, a period ticket is better suited.

Purchase and payment of flex ticket

You could buy flex tickets in the Västtrafik To Go app. The flex ticket is no longer available for purchase.

Activate flex ticket

The flex ticket will take effect from when the first 24-hour ticket is activated. A flex ticket needs to be activated within 30 days from the date of purchase. A 24-hour ticket is valid for 24 hours from the time it is activated.

24-hour tickets that have not been activated expire at the end of the 30-day validity period. The end time is always 23:59 on day 30, regardless of when the last 24-hour ticket was activated. You can only activate one 24-hour ticket at a time.

A flex ticket is activated automatically after 30 days if no 24-hour ticket has been activated previously.

Exchanges and refunds for flex tickets

You may exchange a flex ticket for another optional ticket product within 30 days of purchase if it has not been activated.

Validity of flex tickets

You will find the validity time of your flex ticket and an activated 24-hour ticket, as well as which zone or zones it applies to, in the Västtrafik To Go app. For more information about our flex tickets and which areas they apply in, see Västtrafik's website.

If you are a student, you can get a student discount on the flex ticket. The discount means that you can buy the ticket at youth price.

You can travel with the flex ticket at youth price if you have Västtrafik's certificate card.

The Flex ticket is valid for 30 days from the first 24-hour ticket is activated.
The ten 24-hour tickets in your flex ticket must be used within 30 days .
A 24-hour ticket is valid for 24 hours from the time it was activated in the app.
A journey that has begun may always be completed on the same vehicle, even if the one-way ticket expires during the trip.
The Flex ticket is valid on partners' trains within Västtrafik's area,
with the exception of SJ Regional Göteborg – Töreboda.
The Flex ticket is valid for travel to and from Kosteröarna and Marstrand.
The accompanying offer does not apply to the flex ticket.

Create an account in the Västtrafik To Go app.
When you log in to the app, the flex ticket you purchased is registered in the app.
Sign in to the app on your new phone if you lost your old one. The ticket will come with you to your new phone and disappear from your old one.
