Demand-responsive services

Demand-responsive services are like normal services on a timetable except that they only run if someone has booked a journey in advance and they are operated using smaller vehicles instead of a bus.

How demand-responsive services work

  1. Find your journey in the travel planner or in the timetable
  2. In the timetable or the travel planner, you will also find a telephone number. Call and book the service at least one hour before it departs, or the day before if you are travelling in the morning.

Tickets and prices

Single ticket: Buy a single ticket in the Västtrafik To Go app or from the driver. If you buy a single ticket in the app, you can continue your journey using the same ticket if you change to another vehicle. If you buy a ticket from the driver, you cannot continue your journey using the same ticket if you change to another vehicle. 

Day ticket: You can travel using a day ticket if you have the ticket’s validity receipt with you.

Period ticket: You can travel using a period ticket if you have the ticket’s validity receipt with you. 

School card: You can travel using a School card if you have the ticket’s validity receipt with you.

Validity receipt

You can obtain a validity receipt from our ticket offices and our sales points. 

Price

The single ticket price depends on the route you travel.

For example:
One municipal zone: SEK 43 adult/SEK 32 youth

Terms and conditions

All our vehicles are equipped with a booster seat that a child can borrow during the journey. You can bring your own booster seats with you if more than one child will be travelling.

Please bring your own child car seat and baby seat for children who need one. 

Pram/pushchair

Please indicate when booking if you want to bring a pram or pushchair with you.

Pet

You can bring your pet with you on the journey if you mention this when booking. Pets must travel in a cage in the vehicle’s luggage area.

Luggage

Please indicate when booking if you want to bring luggage with you. You can bring luggage with you that is no larger than two shopping bags.

Rollators and personal equipment

Please indicate when booking which equipment you want to bring with you, such as a rollator.
