On all buses in Västra Götaland, except in Gothenburg, Mölndal and Partille, you can buy a ticket from the driver. You pay with a bank card.
In zone A you can purchase single tickets for adults by tapping your payment card against our card readers. How tap payment works

If you wish to buy a period ticket, please use our app Västtrafik To Go or visit one of our agents.
The easiest way to buy a ticket is in a ticket machine on the boat dock or in the app Västtrafik To Go. But it is also possible to buy a ticket with your debit/credit card on most boats.

Exceptions:
- Boat 879, Postbåten, in Tanum does not sell any tickets on board. You can buy your ticket in the Västtrafik To Go app.
- It is free of charge to travel on boat 286, Älvsnabbare.
On our trams you can buy a single ticket for adults (valid in zone A), by tapping your payment card against our card readers.
On our trains Västtågen you can buy tickets from the train crew with your bank card.
