- Valid tickets: period tickets in the Västtrafik To Go app.
- Invalid tickets: senior tickets, single tickets and pay-as-you-go. Västtrafik's Travel 4 pay for 1 accompanying offer does not apply. For information on accompanying children (0–6 years), please visit the relevant train company's website.
Västtrafik cards must be verified together with proof of validity.
- Valid tickets: single tickets and period tickets in the Västtrafik To Go app. Single ticket as a paper ticket.
- Invalid tickets: senior tickets, pay-as-you-go and single tickets on thin paper cards. Västtrafik's Travel 4 pay for 1 accompanying offer does not apply. For information on accompanying children (0–6 years), visit the relevant train company's website.
Västtrafik's period and single tickets can be combined on the Gothenburg–Töreboda route. Västtrafik's single tickets are valid within zones A, B and C, not for onward travel within the arrival zone. Västtrafik cards must be verified together with proof of validity.
- Valid tickets: single tickets, pay-as-you-go and period tickets in the Västtrafik To Go app. Day tickets are only valid between Gothenburg–Åmål. Västtrafik's Travel 4 pay for 1 accompanying offer is valid between Gothenburg–Åmål. For information on accompanying children (0–6 years), visit the relevant train company's website.
- Invalid tickets: senior tickets.
Västtrafik's tickets are only valid for Säffle station, not for onward travel within the arrival zone. Västtrafik cards must be verified together with proof of validity.
- Valid tickets: single tickets and period tickets in the Västtrafik To Go app. Single ticket as a paper ticket. Senior tickets. Västtrafik's Travel 4 pay for 1 accompanying offer applies to the Gothenburg–Ed route.
- Invalid tickets: pay-as-you-go and single tickets on thin paper cards. School tickets are not valid for Halden.

- Valid tickets: single tickets, period tickets and day tickets in the Västtrafik To Go app. Period and day tickets on Västtrafik card are valid together with proof of validity. Västtrafik's Travel 4 pay for 1 accompanying offer is valid on the Gothenburg–Åsa route.
- Invalid tickets: pay-as-you-go and single tickets on thin paper cards.
Västtrafik's tickets to Varberg are valid for onward travel in Varberg.

Combine tickets
On routes where Västtrafik's period tickets are valid, it is possible to combine our different period and day tickets. As long as the tickets' common zone validity covers the entire journey, all period and day tickets can be combined with each other.
Example:
Journey Gothenburg (zone A) - Skövde (zone C) requires ticket validity for zone ABC. The minimum valid zone combination is A+BC or AB+C.
