Gradual rollout
Starting in the autumn of 2025, we will launch the option of having the senior ticket in Västtrafik To Go. We are releasing the ticket in a few municipalities at a time, so not everyone will have access to it at the same time. Here you will find information about which municipalities have so far received digital senior tickets:

Ordering the ticket
Are you registered in a municipality that offers senior tickets and want the ticket in the app? Then you can log in to the app and order your ticket under My offers. Please note that you must be logged in to view the offer. You can start travelling with the ticket when you meet the municipality's age requirements.
Before your trip:
Bring identification, which you need to be able to show at a ticket inspection.
To show your ticket on board:
Show the senior ticket to the reader. The reader lights up green when it has scanned the ticket.
Travelling outside the validity of the ticket
If you want to travel across zone boundaries or outside the validity period of the ticket (in the case of off-peak tickets), you can easily buy a supplementary ticket in Västtrafik To Go.

In the case of off-peak tickets: If you board the vehicle before 06:00 or before 15:00, you may continue the journey with the same vehicle, but if you make a change after these times, you will have to pay for the new journey.
Have you lost your phone?
If you have your senior ticket in Västtrafik To Go, all you need to do is log in to the app on your new phone. The ticket will transfer to the new phone and disappears from your old one.
