Exchange your pay-as-you-go

Here you will find information on how you can take advantage of the balance and deposit on your Västtrafik card when you no longer use it. 

Redemption of pay-as-you-go

If you wish, you can redeem the pay-as-you-go on your Västtrafik card. For example, if you have a senior ticket but moved it to the app. When you redeem the pay-as-you-go card, you will get back the deposit. If you choose to receive compensation as a voucher for the app, the value on the card will also be included.

You redeem the payload via My Account.

How to redeem your balance

  1. Log in to My Account.
  2. Click My tickets.
  3. Select the Västtrafik card you want to redeem.
  4. Click the Manage cards tab .
  5. Click Redeem Card.
  6. Choose how you want compensation.
  7. You will receive an email with information on how to send the card to us. Postage is paid by Västtrafik.
  8. You will receive your compensation within about a month from when the card has been received by us.
