The Västtrafik area is divided into three zones: A, B and C. Your ticket will indicate the zone in which it is valid. Västtrafik tickets are valid on buses, trams and boats operating within the Västtrafik traffic area, as well as on board Västtågen and Öresundstågen trains within Västra Götaland.
The ticket is not valid on board:
- SJ
- Vy tåg
- Flygbussarna
- Marstrand ferry
When you purchase a ticket through a sales channel other than the Västtrafik To Go app, the ticket is not covered by the added value and offers available in the app. This also applies to tickets purchased through another transport authority's sales channel, such as Hallandstrafiken.
The following are not included:
- The option to bring three people under the age of 20 with you on the journey free of charge
- The option to lend your ticket to someone else
- Refunds on single tickets
