The half-price offer on 30-day season ticket applies to both Västtrafik To Go and Västtrafik cards. The discount applies to both youth and adult tickets, as well as the student offer. You can receive the discount regardless of whether you purchase your ticket through the Västtrafik To Go app or on a Västtrafik card.
The following tickets are available at half price until 2 December:
- 30-day season ticket: zones A, B, C, AB, BC and ABC.
- Mini 30-day ticket.
- Extra 30-day ticket (cross-county tickets).
- Zone ABC Leisure 30-day ticket.
All the benefits of a 30-Day season ticket still apply
As usual, your 30-day travel pass allows you to travel as often as you like within the validity period. If you are an adult, you can also bring up to three young people under the age of 20 free of charge when you purchase your pass through the Västtrafik To Go app.
You can also lend your pass to someone else if you wish. You can choose to activate your 30-day season ticket immediately or wait up to 30 days before activating it.

If you are a student and registered as a resident in Gothenburg, the most affordable option for you after 1 July is the Zone A 30-day Adult ticket, rather than the Youth ticket. This applies as long as you purchase the ticket through the Västtrafik To Go app while logged in, and primarily travel within Zone A.
This is because the Zone A Adult ticket is also subsidised by the City of Gothenburg for residents of Gothenburg. The subsidy does not apply to the Youth fare, which means that the Adult ticket (SEK 305) is cheaper than the Youth ticket (SEK 335).
Yes. If you are registered as a resident of Gothenburg and purchase an adult season ticket for Zone A, you will continue to receive the subsidy from the City of Gothenburg. The subsidy applies to 30-day, 90-day and 365-day season tickets.
We understand that many people have interpreted it that way. The half-price discount on 30-day season tickets funded through a government subsidy that ends on 2 December. That is why 2 December is also the last day you can buy a ticket at the discounted price. The good news is that you can still travel at half price until the end of the year, as the ticket remains valid for 30 days after purchase.
