How we tested the mobile application
- ETU AB has conducted an independent review of the Västtrafik To Go app. The review was carried out on 6 April 2021 of version 4.16.1.
- Västtrafik AB continuously reviews the app and corrects shortcomings in accessibility.
Unreasonably onerous adaptation
- We invoke unreasonably onerous adaptation under Section 12 of the Digital Public Service Accessibility Act for the use of the app in horizontal mode. When your device turns 90 degrees, the content of the app doesn't adjust to horizontal mode. We invoke unreasonably onerous adaptation as adaptation would be a very costly investment and involve maintenance and work for which we do not have the capacity at present.
- We invoke unreasonably onerous customization under Section 12 of the Digital Public Service Accessibility Act for mobile content in the app that a user cannot stop or pause. We invoke particularly onerous adaptation as adaptation means too low a level of security regarding ticket purchases, reorganization of our visa and ticket control work and deviations from the ticket standard that we apply jointly with other traffic principals in Sweden.
- We invoke unreasonably onerous adaptation under Section 12 of the Digital Public Service Accessibility Act when devices' operating systems are set to dark mode. The app's appearance does not change to the desired mode. We invoke particularly onerous adaptation as adaptation would be a very costly investment and involve maintenance and work for which we do not have the capacity at present.
