We and many other public organisations – such as government agencies, municipalities and regions – use Swedbank's payment system (SUS) to make payments to private individuals, a secure and efficient system that simplifies the handling of large volumes of payments.
You do not need to be a customer of Swedbank to receive money via SUS. But if you are not registered via SUS, the money will instead arrive as a payment notice in the mail.
If you want to avoid this, you can register your bank account in SUS. If you are a minor, you can do this by visiting a Swedbank branch together with your guardian. Both need to bring valid identification.
By registering the account in SUS, you avoid paper notices and receive future payments directly to the account.
