Applies to season tickets in zone A
To get the reduced price, you need to be registered as a resident of Gothenburg and logged into the Västtrafik To Go app. The subsidy applies to 30-, 90- and 365-day tickets in zone A. It does not apply to youth tickets or our student offer.

16 percent of each period ticket is subsidized by the City of Gothenburg.

To promote sustainable travel by public transport, the politicians in the City of Gothenburg have decided to offer their residents lower prices on season tickets through a subsidy. This means that the City of Gothenburg pays part of the ticket price for residents who are registered in the municipality.
