There will be 11 transport companies that carry out Västtrafik's service journeys and pre-ordered traffic from June 2022.
The agreement covers transport services and school taxis for 45 of the region's 49 municipalities*, all hospital trips in Västra Götaland and other pree-ordered traffic at Västtrafik, such as pre-ordered lines in public transport.

High demands on quality and the environment
Västtrafik has set a variety of quality and environmental requirements in the procurement. The quality requirements include, among other things, that all drivers are certified for service travel and have knowledge of disabilities. The agreement also provides incentives to give transport companies more compensation if they reduce their emissions.
Every year, approximately 1.9 million are made with Västtrafik's pre-ordered traffic.
*Västtrafik does not carry out transport services and school taxis for Gothenburg, Borås, Tranemo and Ulricehamn.
